"One small hand in yours, One small face to smile, One wet kiss as he says "g'night". One small child. Catch the moment, put it in your heart. The years too soon will fly. These are precious moments, more than money can buy. Two small arms to hold you tight. Two small feet to run. Two small eyes full of love for you. One small daughter. Catch the moment and put it in your heart and never let it go. Save it for years to come, when she too will know, one small hand to hold in hers. One small face to smile. One small kiss as she says good night. One small child."-------------------------------
A Typical Day in the life of Bella at age two.
At age two you wake up between 7am and 8am and have breakfast while we watch Sesame Street and/or Dragon Tales. You love pancakes for breakfast and also having cereal. After breakfast we play with toys...on Tuesday's at 10am we go to the library for Toddler Time (up until this past two weeks we were going on Wednesday's to Book Babies, but now you're too big!) and Wednesday's at 9am we go to Bright Future's Playgroup. Every other Thursday we have Mom's Group where we get together and play, go on outings, and do crafts. You really enjoy these days that we get together with the other kids. You also enjoy going to McDonald's to play in the playground area after Toddler Time is over. We usually have lunch between noon and 1pm. During lunch we watch a movie, your favorite right now seems to be Cinderella. After you're done eating, we play for an hour or so. Nap time usually falls around 2:00 or 2:30pm. On good days you nap for 3 hours, but sometimes you think you're too big for naps and decide to get up after only 1 hour. Daddy gets home from work between 5:30 and 6:00pm, so we have dinner around 6:30pm. After dinner we play some more, usually end up popping in a movie (of your choosing of course), and let you tire yourself out playing, dancing, and generally just acting crazy. Bed time is at 10:00pm when Mommy and Daddy go to bed. You're sleeping in your toddler day bed and doing very well. You are also starting to get potty trained. You go in the 'big girl' potty at least once a day, sometimes even telling Mommy and Daddy when you need to go. We're so proud of you! New things you're saying: I couldn't even begin to list all of the things you are saying now. You talk all the time! You quickly repeat things that are said and are always asking "What's that?" You love to music, dancing, and singing songs...some of your favorites are: "The More We Get Together (you learned it at Book Babies); Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star; Baa Baa Black Sheep; Jesus Loves Me; London Bridge; The Itsy, Bitsy Spider; and the ABC song. You still love fruit, but are becomming quite picky on anything else. Sometimes you'll eat pizza, sometimes you won't. You still like ham...on most days. Any candy is gone in seconds. Scooby Snacks are a favorite treat right now. You are now wearing a size 5 in diapers, 2T in jeans, 2T or 3T in shirts, and size 7 - 7 1/2 in shoes. Favorite shows/movies: CINDERELLA, Toy Story, Monster's Inc, Finding Nemo, Backyardigans, and Dora the Explorer.
