A Day in the Life of Bella at age 1

A Typical Day in the life of Bella at age one. At age one you are waking up between 7am and 8am. You watch Sesame Street/Elmo's World, then have breakfast. Lately breakfast has been french toast - you like it more than oatmeal, I think because you can feed yourself. After breakfast, we play with toys. You like to climb on EVERYTHING! (I think you've got a little 'gorilla' in you!) Between 12:00 and 1:00pm you usually grab your sheep and crawl over to the couch to let me know you're ready for a nap. After your nap, sometimes before - depending on what time you take your nap, you have lunch. Usually a meat or vegetable and some fresh fruit...again, you like to feed yourself. Next, if you've already napped, we play some more and usually listen to some music or watch a cartoon...sometimes we run errands. You like to shop - I think you like to people watch more than anything! Daddy gets home around 5pm so then you play with Daddy for awhile while Mommy gets dinner. Usually you have a vegetable and some more fruit. Afterwards some crackers so we can eat dinner while you're busy feeding yourself or you share our dinner with us. After dinner you play some more and usually climb on Daddy or whatever else is within your reach. Between 9 and 10pm you're usually searching for your sheep and ready for your bedtime bottle. Then we have a short time of peace and quiet before we start the day all over again! Right now you are wearing size 12mos - 18mos in clothing and size 4 in shoes (when we can keep them on you - you like to be barefoot). While we are driving, you still fall asleep if we're going anywhere more than 20 minutes away - which from Glasford is most everywhere. You love to watch Elmo's World and Blue's Clues. You used to love watching the movie 'Monsters Inc.' We started watching it when you were about 3mos old. You loved the bright colors and all the movement. For some reason, around 8mos old, you decided you were going to be afraid of it. I guess we'll try watching it again later...much later. You love to mimic things and think it's even cooler when we mimic you. You also think it's hilarious when we fake sneeze. It gets you to smile every time!
